(Rules of Play)

All games are four, 5-minute quarters.

One time out per quarter (unused timeouts carryover; ball advances to half court on timeouts in the 4th quarter).

Running clock (stops on injuries only).

Man to man defense (only).

Any contact (other than incidental) will be deemed a foul.

Pressing/trapping is allowed (either team) during the last minute of the fourth quarter (2 possession game).

Entire offensive team must be in the front court before a shot is taken (unless time is about to expire).

Offensive players cannot take consecutive shots (unless it’s their own rebound). 

One point is awarded to opposing team for players flopping.

Games that end in a tie are decided by free throws (shooter selected by opposing coach).

Free throws are one (1) shot for 2/3 points (And 1 free throw automatically counts)

Winning team will take individual and/or team pictures with a trophy.

*These rules are designed to speed up the game, force players to think while on the court, foster team play, and encourage hustle. Active volunteers are the only ones allowed to coach. Anyone attempting to coach from the stands and/or sidelines will be asked to…do it in a positive, encouraging manner.😁

All camp participants must be currently (or intend to) enrolled in elementary, middle, or high school.

Bring your own snacks.

Your school’s Code of Conduct policies and my camp policies, for consistency purposes, will function as one and the same.
